9base software package provides Plan 9 userland tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install 9base
9base is installed in your system.
Make ensure the 9base package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep 9base *
You will get with 9base package name, version, architecture and description in a table
